The services below are all available through the majority of local pharmacies
Smoking Cessation Service
If you are thinking about trying to quit smoking call into your local Pharmacist where they can discuss all of the options available to you. Your Pharmacist will be able to tell you about nicotine replacement products and other stop smoking medicines, and recommend which product or combination of products could work for you.
The Smoking Cessation Service is designed for those who wish to quit smoking by following a controlled and supportive program which operates within the pharmacy itself. You can try to quit smoking with the aid of patch's, inhalator's, sprays and lozenges etc... all of which are available on the scheme via the NHS.
Many people find that sharing the experience with others is really helpful in itself.
